DraftKings rolls out Flex Spins for online casino users
Flex Spins expand DraftKings’ casino rewards offering
The new mechanic gives players the ability to redeem free spins across a pool of more than 100 casino titles. Unlike traditional free spin offers, which are usually tied to a single slot, Flex Spins give users more freedom in how they use their rewards.
With this launch, DraftKings is broadening its promotional ecosystem and giving players a more versatile way to engage with bonuses, without limiting them to one specific game.
“We’re thrilled to introduce Flex Spins, a new exclusive slot rewards mechanic that underscores DraftKings’ commitment to innovation and personalization,” said DraftKings Executive Vice President and General Manager of iGaming Christian Bogstrand.
“At DraftKings, we’re focused on delivering greater variety, flexibility and compelling new offerings for our customers, and Flex Spins represent the latest step in enhancing the DraftKings Casino experience.”
How the new feature works for players
DraftKings customers can earn Flex Spins by placing real-money wagers through the operator’s online casino platform. Each Flex Spin carries a value of between $0.10 and $0.20, and must be used within 24 hours from the time it is awarded.
Any winnings generated from Flex Spins are credited as bonus bets, meaning they are not eligible for direct cash withdrawal.
To mark the debut of the new feature, DraftKings is running a promotional campaign that gives players the opportunity to win a share of 100 million Flex Spins by wagering daily on DraftKings Casino. The campaign is scheduled to run through March 29.
Launch comes ahead of DraftKings’ super app rollout
The release of Flex Spins arrives as DraftKings moves toward combining several of its digital products into a new all-in-one platform called DraftKings Sports & Casino.
The upcoming app will bring together the company’s online sportsbook, online casino, prediction market product DraftKings Predictions, and Jackpocket, its online lottery brand.
DraftKings’ daily fantasy sports product will continue to operate through its own standalone platform.
DraftKings Sports & Casino is designed to offer users a single account and shared wallet, making it easier to move between the different verticals featured in the app. That said, product availability will depend on state-level regulations, meaning some features will vary by jurisdiction.
DraftKings currently offers online sports betting in 26 regulated U.S. jurisdictions.
Its prediction market platform is live in 47 states, although sports event contract trading is only available in 17 states where traditional regulated sports betting is not offered. The rollout of DraftKings Sports & Casino is expected to take place gradually throughout 2026.
ESPN partnership adds another layer to user experience
DraftKings has also been working with ESPN to strengthen the customer experience across its platforms.
Under the partnership, users with accounts on both ESPN and DraftKings can link them together, allowing for a more personalized experience.
The two companies expanded their relationship in December 2025, when DraftKings became ESPN’s official sportsbook and odds provider. That agreement followed the end of ESPN’s previous sports betting partnership with PENN Entertainment, which had operated ESPN Bet.
